We tried… the Paris Green Drinks Night Events!

We heard about the event Green Drinks in Paris a few weeks ago, without having time to come and participate. Well this is now corrected, since we visited the Green Drinks event last Monday, which took place, like every of these meetings, in Paris at Café Zango near Les Halles.

Our first feelings (which were confirmed after) is that all participants in this kind of event is friendly match, and especially always ready to engage in conversation / debate on various subjects.

In short, a nice moment ponctuated by the intervention of Jérémy Fain, Rupert Schiessl and Vianney de Villemeur, all three of the company Verteego to present their initiatives Verteego.com and VerteegoCarbon.

If you want to meet interesting and open-minded people, we recommend without reservation to come and participate in one of these event!

Café du E-Commerce Conférence

We do not miss an opportunity to meet and talk with the players of e-commerce activity and this week was the conference Café du E-commerce organized by the company Compario in Microsoft’s building in Paris. This session focused on a theme close to the activity of Hop-Cube, the “Social Shopping”.

The event consisted of a session of an interview / a debate about online marketplaces experts as Looneo, groupReflect, Milonga Music and Compario.

Of course, they all affirmed the importance and the value of user-generated content (UGC) for the user, but the speakers also stressed the importance of a community of users called “experts” to share their experience on products. Benoit Lamezec, Head of E-Business Milonga Music explained that welcomes users comments was an integral part of the customer relationship and provides exceptional offers to its clients posting the most acerbic (but fair) comments.

The community of people who support the green economy (and there are many) will be the ones that will use the rating system proposed by Hop-Cube. We are counting strongly on that community to give us feedback and many constructive comments allowing us to improve quickly the service we offer them.

Paris Innovation’s Incubator integration ?

A few days ago, we met again with Francois Teyssier and Céline Lanfranchi-Signol, project managers at the incubator Paris Innovation - Bourse, who we had previously spoken.

The aim of this meeting was to present the developments of our project to apply for a pre-incubation in this establishment.

After one hour of conversation, our interlocutors seemed to have been convinced by our project. We’ll see it in a few weeks… To be continued …
