About Us
Hop-Cube offers a new approach to sustainable development and an raise an innovative problem:
Why does the consumer have to look for information in order to buy better products?
The “sustainable development”, which is gaining importance in the daily concerns should be involved and easily accessible to many. The project covered by Hop-Cube aims to disseminate environmental information about a wide range of products, much wider than it is today. To expand the dissemination of environmental information outside the territories demarcated market ecological product, Hop-Cube provides its services to all platforms selling so-called General Public. “
The vector of transmission of that information takes the shape of a grade out of ten which represents an aggregation of information provided by reliable organizations such as GreenPeace and EnergyStar for each product. This score is offered as a service to e-commerce websites and aims to be displayed next to each product referenced in their catalogue.
This web-based component proposes to the user a suite of rich functionalities around the grade, such as complementary information relative to the power consumption of the device, the list of sources which contributed to the score and some community functionalities.
Finally, via this tool, Hop-Cube enables everyone to have access to the tools necessary to make choices for the Planet, and it quickly, without extra effort. Hop-Cube is firmly positionned to give the keys to consume in a more “responsible” way.

The Team

Hop-Cube is an idea born from the fertile mind of 3 engineering students (Thomas Albisser, Adrien Carbonne and Romain Vailleux) during their participation in the Imagine Cup 2008 competition in the Software Design category.
Gone through a very similar cursus (Bachelor Maths and engineering graduation school EFREI), they share passion for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. They met and learnt to know each other at the Junior-Entreprise of EFREI (SEPEFREI) while participating first project managers and then as members of the head office, President (Thomas) Vice-President in charge of Operations (Adrien) and General Secretary (Romain).
That year, they contributed to the success of the Junior-Enterprise tripling its turnover and winning the 2008 Label Communication, awarded by a jury of communication professionals.
In late 4th year of school they decide to transform the application as part of the Imagine Cup into a real business project. The roles are divided among themselves naturally: Thomas is responsible for managing the company, Adrien deals with technical aspects of various projects and Romain takes over the management of commercial relationship and image.
With the arrival of Capucine Hop-Cube mutes to become more functional: experienced in the commercial relationship, Capucine takes the direction of Sales. In addition to his duties as CEO, Thomas manages the technical development of our core applications. Romain is in charge of operating the service and ensure a link between the technical team and new customers needs.
To them three, they gather a complementary team, bringing together the key skills of a company, both technical and business.
